Herman Mashaba defends the free market economic system — Political analysis South Africa

Herman Mashaba revealed that he endorses the free market economic system, which he believes is the foundation of one of Action SA’s core values.

Action SA President Herman Mashaba took to Twitter on Friday, September 18, 2020 to reveal what kind of economic system he would be working to advance locally, if put in power. It comes after Mashaba revealed he bought an Action SA t-shirt from one of the young entrepreneurs the party supports by providing them with branded t-shirts to sell.

A Twitter user then asked Mashaba what he was getting from the deal. Mashaba claimed that the party received nothing in return. The Action SA leader then explained that he is a supporter of the free market economic system, which is mainly based on supply and demand. The economic system is the one he pursued by suggesting he would introduce if Action SA became the ruling party.
